Here is one for you.I was hiking the other week and I saw what I thought was a woodpecker.it was very small, light brown and green..I went home and looked in my bird book but couldn't find anything..I live in Missoula Montana. Maybe you could find out what it is..thanks Brandon
Hey Buddy, well the first bird on the top of my head from where your located and from your description, is a Brown Creeper! It clings to a tree like a woodpecker and is even seen climbing down a tree face first towards the ground like a nuthatch does! Check it out and let me know what you think!
